A Letter to Our Sponsors
August 17, 2017
We would like to begin our letter by thanking you for your past support of the Cultural Fund and your participation in our events. Since our founding in 1994, we have sponsored close to 140 events in the Washington area. Please visit our website twgcf.org.
Our 2017-18 season will begin on Sept. 24 with the ever popular and entertaining Washington based Gerdan in an all Ukrainian program of classical, folk and ethno jazz/fusion music. This will be followed on Oct. 22 by a Ukrainian violinist from Lviv, Bohdana Pivnenko, in a program of works by contemporary Ukrainian composers as well as other classical favorites. On Mar. 25 we will bring back our beloved and talented duo, cellist Natalia Khoma and pianist Volodymyr Vynnytsky. And finally, on April 22 we will present pianist Serhiy Salov, originally from Donetsk and currently residing in Montreal, where he won 1st prize in piano in the 2004 and 1st prize in improvisation in the 2014 Montreal International Musical Competition. Receptions follow the concerts, giving the audience an opportunity to mingle and meet the artists.
We hope that you will become sponsors of our Sunday Music Series at the Lyceum in Old Town Alexandria, in Virginia. Your sponsorship enables us to support our talented artists, while at the same time exposing our audiences to music by Ukrainian composers, which richly deserves to be heard much more than it is. Help Ukrainian culture survive and thrive here and around the world.
Please support us by becoming a sponsor at the following levels:
Individual Sponsor – $100 (Couples $200)
Connoisseur – $500
Gold – $1000
Platinum – $2000
Your sponsorship at the higher levels will enable the Cultural Fund to pursue other initiatives. All sponsors will have free admission to the Music Series and will be listed in our programs. Your contributions are tax-deductible. Please send your check made out to TWGCF to:
